APPLICATION RANGE
Oil and flame resistant conveyor belts can convey oil treated materials in mining locations both underground and above ground. For optimal performance they must be antistatic to protect against static discharges and flame resistant to prevent fire spreading in case of an explosion in the mine galleries.
CARCASS STRUCTURE
The carcass consists of 2,3,4,5 and 6 plies synthetic EP (Polyester-Nylon) fabric, which feature low elongation and good tensile strength. The plies are separated by fire and oil resistant rubber interply and covered with oil, antistatic and re resistant covers. These belts range from medium oil resistant and ame retardant to excellent oil & ame resistance depending on the rubber compound mixture.
BELT WIDTH RANGE
With both cut or moulded edges, belt widths of 500mm up to 1800mm are available.
