APPLICATION RANGE
Steadfast EP conveyor belts are used for for moving bulk materials in a broad range of industrial working conditions. They are supplied to the mining, quarrying, construction, power generation and process industries, including glass making, cement, fertiliser manufacture, waste and recycling. Steadfast offers a complete range of conveyor belting and cover properties, combined with detailed applications engineering knowledge and advice to ensure optimum performance is achieved.
EP CARCASS STRUCTURES
The belt carcass typically consists of 2 – 6 plies of synthetic EP (Polyester-Polyamide) fabric which offer good impact absorption, low elongation and excellent resistance to moisture ingress.
Carcass strengths from 200 N/mm to 2500 N/mm are possible, although above 1600 N/mm we generally recommend using conveyor belts with a steel reinforced carcass – type ST.
BELT WIDTH RANGE
Belts are available with cut or moulded edges in all belt widths from 500 mm to 2200 mm.
