APPLICATION RANGE
Chevron conveyor belts are used to carry wet, loose and ne materials such as coal, minerals, metal ore, aggregates, concrete, grain, slurry and waste products on steep inclines. The raised ribs of the chevron belt prevent the material from running back and increase the capacity of material that can be conveyed at steep angles between 18˚ and 45˚.
CARCASS STRUCTURE
The carcass normally consists of 2 – 4 plies of synthetic EP (Polyester – Polyamide) fabric. EP fabric is preferred for its low elongation, moisture and impact resistance.BELT WIDTH RANGE
Steadfast standard chevron belts are available from 400mm to 1600mm wide.
CHEVRON PROFILE RANGE
Steadfast offers over 35 chevron pattern profiles with 15mm, 35mm and 32mm high chevrons cleats. Available with open or closed ‘V’ and ‘U’ shaped profiles. Profile widths range from 250mm to 1500mm.
